About The Duskbloods
The Duskbloods is an upcoming multiplayer action RPG developed by FromSoftware — the studio behind Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring — directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. It is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive and represents FromSoftware's first game exclusive to a Nintendo home console since Lost Kingdoms II in 2003.
The game is a PvPvE (Player vs Player vs Environment) experience where up to eight players choose from over a dozen vampire-like characters known as the Bloodsworn — each with unique weapons, abilities, and lore — and compete in matches across diverse maps spanning different time periods and locations.
Set during the Twilight of Humanity, the game follows the Bloodsworn as they are summoned across time and space to compete for a mysterious substance called First Blood. The Bloodsworn have transcended the limits of humanity through forbidden blood rites, gaining supernatural powers expressed through dramatic combat abilities including sprinting, super jumps, double jumps, summoning entities, and vampiric bite attacks.
Development originally began as a Nintendo Switch title before shifting to the Switch 2 after Nintendo approached FromSoftware about the new hardware. Miyazaki described the original concept as "a loose string of ideas" that Nintendo was "very interested in helping make a reality." The upgraded hardware allowed the team to further emphasize the game's online features and stay closer to their original creative vision.
Confirmed Gameplay Features

Destined Roles System

Blood History & Fate
A deep customization system inspired by tabletop RPGs — customize abilities, appearance, inner traits, world roles, and character relationships.
